PRINCE EDWARD ISLAND
Hi, welcome to the Prince Edward Island virtual tour of Anne's Land, the north shore between Summerside and Charlottetown. We’ll be starting this tour in Summerside at Read's Corner. We’ll follow the Blue Heron Drive around northern Prince and Queens counties. Take your time and explore the land where Lucy Maud Montgomery lived and wrote Anne of Green Gables. To help you follow along, we’ve included the distance from the highway intersection at Read's Corner where highway 1A and route 11 meet. We will make a note of the major intersections on the tour. The junction is Km 0 and our final stop on this portion of the tour is in Charlottetown, 100 Km (63 miles) away.
