Infectious

For
years fiddle music has been referred to
as being Infectious. The title of my 6th album
Infectious originated from an old saying by Winston
Scotty Fitzgerald?“ The music, it gets you
, it gets in you, ya know!”

Come Dance With Me
 "The
Come Dance With Me" is my 5th album. At this
time I would sincerely like to express my deepest
gratitude to all the musicians, engineers, graphic
arts team, and photographers who over the years contributed
in helping me produce all my albums. This album is
dedicated to all of you and to "you" the
fans..
Fire
Dance
 "The
Fire Dance Album was recorded between European tours
and several concert dates. Bringing together 15 musicians
into the studio was no small feat because all of them
have solo careers. International Shows exposed me to
many different fiddle styles which I wanted to incorporate
on this album. My intention was to give music to all
ages by putting fire under their feet and dance to the
beat."

The
Celtic Touch
 "The
Celtic Touch" album is a combination of traditional
fiddle tunes and a number of compositions I wrote a
few years earlier. I was inspired to compose the title
track, "The Celtic Touch" while in Scotland, traveling
through the countryside. This album is living proof
of the revival of Celtic music. Anyone who has seen
Richard perform knows his foot. Holding the fiddle body
and bow almost vertical, his upper body melts into the
instrument while his step dancer legs pound out the
Rodham. The Celtic touch album has been referred to
as "a highly recommended album" by Gord Fish, Regina,
Saskatchewan.

All
Fired Up!
 The
cover of "All Fired Up" has the fiddle set in velvet,
showing how precious the instrument is to Richard Wood.
This album was recorded a couple of years after releasing
"Cutting The Bow". The album shows the passion for the
Celtic music and the release of high energy this young
man possesses. The thought in mind when arranging the
compositions on this album was to take his listening
audience on a journey full of life and to make you want
to get up and dance. With each new recording, Richard
gives his followers new and fresh numbers of his own
composition which are starting to get very popular with
other musicians and his audience.
