We offer Bed & Breakfast and fine dining year round. Summer visitors can stroll through our two acre market garden... flowers, herbs and vegetables (guided tour if you wish) and watch the antics of our chickens and geese. Our cross country ski trails make a peaceful nature walk. Historic Green Park Provincial Park is close by (4 km) with a shipbuilding museum and the Heritage 1865 Yeo House. Winter guests enjoy cross country skiing and our mulled wine.

Our dining service has been recognized in Candian Living, Atlantic Insight, Atlantic Advocate, Maritime Food & Beverage and Wine Tidings magazine. The Doctor's Inn serves up one of Atlantic Canada's most memorable dining experiences. You first gather for appetizers and wine in the sitting room, then move to the large dining room table. Extraodinary salads feature produce from our own garden, where more than two dozen lettuce varieties are grown, and you have a choice of entrees, which are cooked on the woodstove in an old-fashioned kitchen. Our scallops, Arctic char, salmon and veal are very popular. Desserts are fresh baked and wonderful. A four-course meal with wine is approximately $45 - $55 CDN ($40 - $50 US approx) per person.

We provide private dining for our overnight guests and, by reservations only, for dining parties of up to six people. The menu changes according to what is in season. The vegetables are always fresh!

We enjoy meeting our guests, especially in the evening with the last coffee or glass of wine. A friendly welcome awaits you at The Doctor's Inn.

To avoid disappointment, please call early for accommodation. We require at least 24 hours notice for (non-guest) dining reservations.

The Doctor's Inn offers two overnight units with one bath - a family room suitable for four and a couple's room. You'll enjoy relaxing in our cozy living room in front of the fireplace. We cater to cross country skiiers in the winter and are opern year round. Breakfast included.
