From Confederation Bridge After crossing the Confederation Bridge from New Brunswick, follow the highway until you see signs to Charlottetown, this fork will take you onto Highway 1 East, a pretty 45 minute drive. As you approach Charlottetown, passing through Cornwall, you will go through 3 or 4 sets of lights with motels, donut shops and an Esso gas station on your right, Highway 1 gently turns right and becomes University St. ....follow University to the end, you will be facing a war memorial ...turn right and you are on Grafton Street ... Charlotte's Rose Inn is at 11 Grafton ... three blocks away. From Wood Island Ferry From the ferry exit, follow the signs to Charlottetown (Highway 1 West) After a scenic 45 minute drive, you will pass through the town of Stratford; there will be a bridge ahead of you and a large Esso gas station on your left. Cross the bridge and at the other end, continue straight and you will be on Grafton Street ....Charlotte's Rose Inn at No. 11 Grafton is at the other end of town about a five minute drive.
