…Traditional Victorian charm with modern amenities

This charming Victorian home was built in 1884. Careful attention was paid during the renovation to maintain the traditional atmosphere and architectural characteristics while providing comfortable rooms for our guests. We are on a quiet block in a residential area of Historic Charlottetown. Our inn is surrounded by large homes on a tree lined street. Victorian style lampposts with hanging flower baskets complement the streetscape.

We are conveniently located one block from the harbour, Victoria Park and the boardwalks. Park your vehicle and walk to the Confederation Centre of the Arts, boutiques, museums, art galleries, and Charlottetown’s fine restaurants. Enjoy the many events and festivals taking place every summer at Confederation Landing Park.

Take in the history of “Canada’s Birthplace” by visiting Founders Hall, Province House National Historic site and Beaconsfield House or take a self-guided walking tour of “Historic Charlottetown”. Cavendish National Park, beautiful beaches, and Anne of Green Gables attractions, are just a scenic half hour drive away. Many of our first class golf courses are within 10 - 45 minutes drive.

Our inn features four second floor guest rooms all with private ensuite bathrooms and a third floor loft apartment suite. Each room has been carefully decorated with period antiques in keeping with the Victorian fashion of the day but incorporating many of the comforts of home and modern conveniences. Rooms include queen, king or single beds, duvets, air-conditioning, ceiling fans, cable TV and VCR, and comfortable chairs in which to relax and read or watch TV after a busy day. The guest parlour on the first floor offers a cozy place to sit and read, listen to music or enjoy an afternoon cup of tea. Off-street parking, guest internet PC and wireless network.

…A warm welcome awaits our visitors
