Driving Directions from Confederation Bridge
After exiting the bridge follow the # 1 Hiway towards Charlottetown. After passing through the community of North River which is on the edge of Charlottetown you will cross a causeway with numerous shops on the left, proceed to the top of the hill and at the set of lights turn left and drive past the Industrial park. Just past the park turn to the right, this will put you on a hiway which will take you around Charlottetown. Proceed around Charlottetown, you will pass a golf course on you right and the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on you left before you arrive at a set of lights from where you can see the Hillsboro Bridge. There is a Tim Hortons on your right at this light. You want to turn left here and cross the bridge. Keep on this Hiway, this eventually leads to the Wood Islands Ferry terminal. You will pass through small rural communities like Pownal, and Vernon Bridge, These are rural communities so don't expect to see towns. When you see the Coopers Red and White store and its Shell gas bar you are close, watch road signs on the right about a half mile past this, turn right at the Higher Ground Restaurant and head down to the ocean, the golf course and the Lord Selkirk Provincial Park where you will also find camping, RV sites and swimming pools..

Driving Directions from the Wood Islands Ferry Terminal
After exiting the ferry drive straight down the road for less than a kilometre and you will come to the Tourist information building and liquor store, keep left around a big curve, continue on this highway for about 15 minutes. You will pass through the rural communities of Belle River and Flat River. When you come to a bridge where there is a fishing wharf on the left and and probably some lobster boats tied up you are about 5 minutes away. There are some signs on the right that will identify a tourist area is ahead. The golf course is located beside the Lord Selkirk Provincial park where there is camping and swimming pools. You will turn to the left on the road which is right across from the Higher Ground Restaurant, if you see Coopers Red and White store you have gone to far.
