The Anderson SummerhomeOur secluded heritage summerhome sits on a grassy knoll with a view of Winter Bay surrounded by fertile fields. It's about ¼ of a mile up a red clay lane from Route 6 - 10 miles from Charlottetown in the town of Millcove. It is only minutes from the beautiful North Shore National Park Beaches. Nearby lies the Confederation Trail - ideal for biking and hiking across PEI's countryside. There are many golf courses nearby, as well as harbors for deep-sea fishing. The summerhome, circa 1930, has been completely renovated, but its 6 rooms still retain their quaintness and charm with antique furniture dating back to when it was built. There is a typical old-fashioned parlor, as well as a sitting room for TV or games. The kitchen is large with a couch for relaxing - usually found in any old summerhome on the Island. The grounds are spacious and beyond there are trails to explore through the fields and woods to Winter River. There are 3 bedrooms - each with a double bed providing accommodation for 6 people.
